IELTS is designed to check the<br>English language proficiency of the one who takes the test.<br>The IELTS test is the world\u2019s most popular English language proficiency test for higher education<br>and global migration.<br>Governing bodies of Canada, UK, New Zealand, Australia and even Singapore use IELTS for the<br>process of immigration application.<br>IELTS is jointly owned by the British Council, IDP: IELTS Australia and Cambridge Assessment<br>English.<br>There exist two tests for IELTS. Academic IELTS and General IELTS Training.<br>Academic IELTS &#8211; This measures whether your level of English language proficiency is suitable<br>for an academic environment. This reflects aspects of academic language and evaluates whether<br>you are ready to begin training or studying.<br>General IELTS Training- This measures English language proficiency in a practical everyday<br>context. The tasks and tests reflect both the workplace and social situation.<br>The IELTS test that you decide to take is based on what it is that you want to do.<br>IELTS has been developed by some of the world&#8217;s leading language assessment experts and will<br>test the full range of English skills needed for success in your new job or study placement abroad.<br>In the IELTS test, Your ability to listen, read, write and speak in English will be assessed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-background has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"background-color:#9ea300;color:#0e0d0d\"><strong>Listening-<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-background wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"background-color:#9ea300;color:#0e0d0d\">There are four sections, which include both monologues and conversations. A<br>variety of voices and accents are used and each section is played only once.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-dark-color has-text-color has-background has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"background-color:#a39b00\"><strong>Reading-<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-background wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"background-color:#a39200\">There are three long reading passages with tasks. Texts range from descriptive,<br>factual, analytical and may include non-verbal material such as diagrams, graphs or illustrations.<br>Texts are authentic and taken from books, journals, newspapers, magazines and other sources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-dark-color has-text-color has-background has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"background-color:#a39700\"><strong>Writing &#8211;<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-background wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"background-color:#a39b00\">There are two tasks in total. In General IELTS Task 1 is letter writing whereas in<br>Academic IELTS you are presented with a table, graph, chart or diagram and are asked to<br>describe, summarize or explain the information in no less than 150 words. In Task 2, you are asked<br>to write an essay of no less than 250 words in response to a point of view, argument or problem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-dark-color has-text-color has-background has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"background-color:#a38900\"><strong>Speaking-<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-background wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"background-color:#a3a000\">IELTS Speaking is a face-to-face, informal discussion with an IELTS examiner, and<br>is the same for both Academic and General Training.
